Creating Opportunity, Building Community
The Women’s Resources and Research Center (WRRC) promotes social change toward gender equity by utilizing an intersectional, feminist approach to empower communities. In partnership with the student life centers on campus, the WRRC offers leadership programs and trainings that focus on students’ learning, growth and success that engage the campus community in addressing sexism, genderism, cisgenderism, and other intersectional systems of oppression.
WRRC offerings include annual campuswide campaigns (Equal Pay Day, Gender Equity Awareness Week), peer education programs that train students to educate the community on gender issues (EDGE), mentoring programs for women in STEM (WISE), and research and professional development scholarships.
Private support is vital to the WRRC. Every gift helps knit UC Davis into one stronger, more diverse and more cohesive community.
