In 2017, the Institute of the Environment welcomed six exemplary individuals into its inaugural Fellows Program. These select faculty and postdoctoral scholars received seed grants in recognition of their significant contributions to the types of research, engagement and outreach that supports the mission of the Institute of the Environment. The Fellows were identified as those who have made a real-world impact on society and have the potential to help further the Institute of the Environment’s core environmental mission of solutions-based, policy-relevant research, education and outreach.
Institute of the Environment Fellows epitomize the depth, breadth and diverse career stages that make the institute a global leader in environmental problem-solving. The Institute of the Environment seeks support for our next cohort of experts to support the intensive research and innovative efforts they undertake to benefit people and the planet.
