The Advanced Modeling Aeronautics Team (AMAT) is all about providing students an exciting hands-on experience in aircraft design. Competing in the SAE Aero Design West competition, members will get a chance to conduct preliminary research and design, model and run simulations of aerodynamic and structural components in software, and finally construct an RC aircraft. Through this truly unique and unforgettable process, students emerge with valuable skills and experience to become leaders and innovators in the aerospace field!
