Aggie Propulsion & Rocketry Lab (APRL) is a student-led organization whose goal is to design, manufacture, and test liquid fueled rockets on the collegiate scale. After performing the first hot-fire test of a liquid bipropellant rocket engine in UC Davis' history, APRL is now working towards iterating on their design and integrating their tested hardware into a flight-ready vehicle. Your donation will enable passionate UC Davis students to work together to design and launch a rocket and propulsion system that crosses many disciplines of science and engineering. Students gain valuable experiences including hands-on manufacturing and testing, as well as develop time management, writing, and communication skills during their time with our club. We strive to build a welcoming environment comprised of a diverse set of students who grapple with and solve complex problems. Your contributions will provide the team with general support, including our current priorities of funding equipment for our propellant feed system, necessary electrical hardware for our control system, and materials needed for our engine to withstand its harsh operating condition. You’ll be supporting the overall construction of UC Davis’ first ever liquid fueled rocket.
