The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is working to realize a bold vision for the future, guided by our commitment to academic excellence that has a lasting and far-reaching impact on the world around us. In 2016, the department launched a new innovative curriculum that prepares students to lead the way in industries that might not yet exist and build a better tomorrow. Finding creative answers to today and tomorrow’s problems starts with a state-of-of-the-art teaching and learning environments. The department has set an ambitious goal to upgrade five undergraduate teaching labs in Kemper Hall over the next three years. Adaptable spaces and modern equipment are essential to collaborative research and transformative education.
Donors can partner with the department to assist in essential upgrades to state-of-the-art test and measurement instrumentation, work benches, and audio and visual equipment to support the best hands-on learning experience and ensure that our students receive cutting-edge training in an ever-evolving field.
