The Arboretum Teaching Nursery is a beloved community resource for program engagement and public environmental education, a center for home gardening inspiration about sustainable horticulture, and a training facility for student interns in the Arboretum and Public Garden’s innovative environmental leadership program — Learning by Leading™️.

As home to the Elizabeth Mary Wolf Environmental Learning Center and the host site for popular plant sale events that attract thousands of home gardening enthusiasts from the region, the Arboretum Teaching Nursery is at the heart of our mission to inspire human potential to help people and environments thrive.
