Scott McNiven, a beloved member of the Agricultural and Resource Economics family, passed away in December 2013. As an academic, Scott was dedicated to generating policy relevant research to eradicate rural poverty in the developing world. As a person, Scott inspired his colleagues and family by his love, strength and commitment to community.
To honor this legacy, the fund was established to create and maintain the Scott McNiven Graduate Student Lounge.
