SmartLandscape will combine state-of-the-art irrigation technology with low water-use plants to measure and monitor water use data as we develop and refine best practices for reducing urban landscape water waste.

As one of the first comprehensive, state-of-the art horticultural demonstration and showcase sites on a major research university campus in the United States, SmartLandscape will serve as a center for horticultural research, teaching, outreach and innovation.
