Pesticides are critical for food production worldwide but can lead to human and environmental risks. Thus, rapid analysis of pesticide exposure is critical for efficient protection. We develop rapid sensor technologies for fields and laboratory analysis of pesticides based on new physical, biochemical and molecular techniques, that allow the testing of pesticides presence for industry, government, and the general public. Gifts will be used to support the development of nanobodies and other engineered antibodies. This includes basic technology as well as application to control of plant and insect pests in agriculture, environmental safety, and human health.
