Professor Emeritus, Vernon Singleton, and his wife, Kathryn, established the Vernon and Kathryn Singleton Enology Fund in 2013 to support undergraduate and graduate students studying viticulture and enology, with a preference for those focused on enology. Professor Singleton's research on phenolic chemistry and wine aging is still fundamental to the teaching of wine students and professionals.
Kay passed away on January 22, 2025 and Dr. Singleton passed away on August 26, 2016. Memorial gifts made to this fund will ensure that future wine students are supported in their educational pursuits, and that the Singleton's indelible legacy will live on.
