Anita Oberholster Memorial Fund

Anita Oberholster, Professor of Cooperative Extension in Enology within the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, passed away in January 2025. Dr. Oberholster moved to the Department of Viticulture and Enology at UC Davis in 2011 from her role as a researcher in the Department of Viticulture and Oenology at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. In her position, she focused on continuing education for the grape and wine industry, while her research program concentrated on current issues in the grape and wine industry.

Anita will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. This fund was established in her honor and will provide general department and research support for the Department of Viticulture and Enology.
