Bruce D. Hammock Graduate Research Excellence Award

The Hammock Graduate Research Excellence Award was established in memory of Bruce D. Hammock and supports Ph.D. students in the College of Agriculture and Environmental Science at UC Davis who have demonstrated exceptional research achievement in biochemistry and molecular mechanisms of biological systems.

The goal is for the fund to attain the minimum endowment level of $50,000 by June 2031. Should the fund not reach the required endowment threshold within the five-year period, all existing and future contributions will be redesignated as a current-use fund and administered in support of the same purpose.
