The Edward A. Lombard Jr. Cancer Research Fund is intended to fuel discoveries and breakthroughs to end the suffering inflicted by these diseases. The fund was created to honor the legacy and memory of Edward A. Lombard Jr., a beloved husband, father, grand and great grandfather, who lost his battle with breast cancer on March 3rd, 2025. A person of unique and unwavering character, his impact was great and stretched far and wide. He is missed but remembered for his indelible impact. The fund will be used at the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center to drive innovation and support the vital work needed to eradicate the burden caused by cancer.
