Throughout the Greater Sacramento area, patients in many rural and urban communities struggle to access crucial preventative healthcare – many facing barriers like transportation, insurance, language differences, and distance to a provider or clinic. You can help to eliminate these barriers. UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Centers new mobile mammography clinic, will travel throughout our region to offer state-of-the-art 3D mammography to underserved and remote communities. Staffed with trained technicians, the expertise in our mobile clinic will mirror the radiology expertise found at the cancer center. More than 30% of women are inadequately screened, and rates are even lower among marginalized populations With your help, we can extend our reach, and save more lives. Donations provide general support for the Mommovan Program.
