Glioblastoma Research Fund

Gifts support research at the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center into glioblastoma and other related nervous system and brain tumors that are impacting both pediatric and adult patients. Our research is focused on targeting cancer cells that are thought to perpetuate the tumor within the glioblastoma. We are studying ways in which these cells can be targeted specifically and destroyed. We use cutting edge molecular, cellular, and developmental biology methods as well as genomic and gene editing technologies to answer key open questions in these cancers. Your support will fund research into the formation of the cancers as well as develop innovative approaches to enhancing treatments to fight the growth of spread of the tumors.
