Linguistics General Support

The Department of Linguistics offers a program of study leading to the B.A. degree, as well as two minor programs, one in general linguistics and one in linguistics for language teachers. The graduate program in linguistics at UC Davis offers Ph.D. and an M.A. degrees under the administration of a multidisciplinary graduate group that includes faculty from various departments whose research collectively encompasses a broad range of interests in linguistic theory, cognitive science, multilingualism, and language and society.
