We are pleased to share that an anonymous donor has contributed a gift to establish a scholarship in recognition of recently retired faculty member, Al Mendle, Lecturer/Supervisor in the Teacher Education credential program. Known as the “Teacher Credential Scholarship in recognition of Al Mendle,” it will provide crucial scholarship funds for future elementary school educators. Those who have studied mathematics and/or mathematics education at the undergraduate level are encouraged to apply. This fund is intended to support first-generation college students and who have demonstrated financial need.
Celebrate Al’s retirement and his service to the UC Davis Teacher Credential Program and the UC Davis Mathematics Project by making a gift to this scholarship today! Every gift makes a difference. Al is gratified to know that any recognition is going to help future teachers.
