Transformational Innovation Fund for Environmental, Climate and Health Research

This fund will enable the Institute of the Environment to provide competitive grant opportunities for researchers both within the Institute and across UC Davis. Across our centers and programs, IE is committed to interdisciplinary, applied policy-relevant research that has a transformative impact. We work with a range of diverse stakeholders including governments, Tribes, farmers, ranchers, businesses, non-profits and community organizations to ensure our work is relevant to the many communities we serve. We prioritize early career scholars to help support their work, recognizing they are the future research leaders. By giving to the Transformational Innovation Fund, your gift will help seed the next generation of climate, environmental health solutions to our most pressing problems. Because of our wide portfolio of work across the Institute, this fund will have a multiplier effect so that we can deliver the greatest impact through innovation across our centers and programs and in the ecosystems, places, and communities we work.
