The W.M. Keck Center for Active Visualization in the Earth Sciences (KeckCAVES) is an inter-disciplinary research project involving Earth and computer scientists. KeckCAVES' aim is to advance Earth science research capabilities by providing an intellectual and computational framework for the visual exploration, manipulation and creation of data and models. The development of cutting-edge virtual reality data and tools provide insights into problems that are difficult to address using other techniques.
