Three Wishes Support Fund

Donations to the 3 Wishes Project will provide general support for the project, such as palliative care initiatives that soften end-of-life experiences for patients, families, and healthcare team members. This program aims to fulfill a set of wishes for a dying patient and their loved ones. The 3 Wishes Project is a unique approach to infuse humanity, celebrate a patient’s life and their legacy, and support families and healthcare team members alike.

While most wishes are often small and simple, they are incredibly meaningful to families. Past wishes have included playing the patient’s favorite music, providing a patient with a non-hospital blanket, decorating the patient’s room with their favorite memorabilia, and providing the bereaved family with keepsakes such as hand molds, fingerprints, framed pictures, heart rhythm strips, and more. More elaborate wishes have included arranging for a patient to be outside to hold a beloved hedgehog for the first time. Your gift to the 3 Wishes Project can help fulfill the often modest but deeply meaningful wishes of critically ill patients in the UC Davis Health ICU.
