Baseball at UC Davis has enjoyed a rich history of excellence over many decades. This success was built over time by outstanding student-athletes and the inspiring coaches who helped provide them with the opportunity to excel both on and off the field. For almost 30 years, Aggies fans and the Davis community have gathered at Dobbins Baseball Complex to enjoy and contribute to the tradition of the UC Davis Baseball program. Excellence in athletics requires modern facilities with appropriate amenities to effectively meet the needs of student-athletes and fans.
The Dobbins Baseball Complex currently lacks many features found at rival institutions such as covered batting cages, lights and a team room building. Without covered batting cages and lights, the team’s available practice times are constricted by both weather and daylight. This places greater demands on our student-athletes and results in more scheduling challenges and academic pressure in an already competitive academic environment. This also puts UC Davis at a distinct disadvantage in recruiting talented student-athletes and in providing the environment they need to succeed both academically and athletically. You are invited to invest in our student-athletes and in our future success. This is an opportunity for alumni and friends to help enhance a storied complex and to continue the tradition of Aggie spirit and pride.
