Nephrology Research Support

The Division of Nephrology is dedicated to the care of patients with acute and chronic kidney disease. Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) affects approximately 30 million people in the United States and many more people have CKD and are not aware of it. High risk groups include people with diabetes, hypertension, African Americans, Hispanics, Pacific Islanders, American Indians and Seniors. The vital support of our donors will help us fulfill our mission to provide world class patient care, physician education and support our research which is focused on the treatment and prevention of diabetic kidney disease, as well as the treatment and prevention of the weakness and debilitation we see in our patients with CKD.
