As part of our 30-year reunion celebration, we are proud to announce a very special project, The Class of ’84 Scholarship Fund, the very first endowed scholarship at King Hall named in honor of a specific class.
It’s not just hyperbole to note that our class is truly something special. Among the 183 graduates from the Class of 1984 are leaders at the highest levels of state government, members of the judiciary, partners at some of the country’s most prestigious firms, solo-practitioners who have built successful practices, entrepreneurs, business leaders, passionate public interest advocates, and so many more classmates whose quiet accomplishments seek to better our world.
Our class left a lasting impression on King Hall during our time as students. We achieved one of the highest bar passage rates of all time at 92%. We founded the Perfect Tender Child Care Co-op, which continues to this day. We were the first class to have more than 50% women. We even received a letter from Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor! And now, as we celebrate our 30-year reunion, we’re continuing our trailblazing ways by becoming the first class in the history of King Hall to create an endowed scholarship in our name as our reunion gift to King Hall.
In the 35 years that have passed since our graduation, the special sense of community at King Hall remains the same. The cost of attendance, however, is another story. During our 3L year we paid fees of just $1,382. In 2019, tuition now stands at $49,455.
