Jeffrey Huffaker '79 Memorial Scholarship

Jeffrey D. Huffaker

Jeffrey Huffaker received his B.S. and Master’s Degrees from UC Davis, both in genetics. He received his JD degree from UC Davis in 1979. After 25 years as an attorney in a family law practice in Contra Costa County, Jeff accepted a position as a Family Law Commissioner with the Contra Costa County Superior Court. He served as a bench officer in Martinez, as well as, Pittsburg. He received, posthumously, the Excellence in Family Law Award, given by the Family Law Section of the California Bar.

Because of this love for community and civic activities, this scholarship shall be given for merit to a 2nd or third year student who is committed to public service.
