Established by the Class of 2003 School of Law Reunion Committee, the purpose of the fund is to memorialize our classmates Steven Cannata and Matthew Cunningham by establishing a scholarship to support law students who are in financial need, particularly those who may be first generation law students or those who may have an interest in the fields of study as chosen by Stephen and Matthew: JD/MBA program, sports law, and environmental law.
Students shall apply for the scholarship by completing the application as directed by the School of Law Director of Financial Aid. The faculty scholarship selection committee will make a recommendation to the Dean of the School of Law to award the fund.
Amount to raise: $50,000 by 2023
Note: Our goal is to reach $50,000 by 2023, establishing an endowment to provide support for students who meet the criteria mentioned above in perpetuity. If we are unable to reach this goal, your donation will provide immediate support for students.
