The Trial Practice Honors Board ("TPHB") at the UC Davis School of Law develops excellence in trial advocacy within an atmosphere of fair and honest competition. It seeks to foster interest in trial work throughout the law school. Each year, TPHB hosts two intraschool competitions that allow King Hall students to develop their advocacy skills in a safe environment against their peers. Additionally, students have the opportunity to earn a spot on an external competition team. Year after year, TPHB organizes teams to send to four or five external competitions across the nation. Consistently, King Hall's trial teams have placed in or come home champions of the competitions that they participate in.
