Pulmonary Research and Education Fund

The area of focus for the Dr. Zeki gift fund is pulmonary basic and translational research intended to advance the understanding of human pulmonary health and disease development. The scope of research is innovative, impactful, and broad and includes the development of new therapies geared towards rapid development for human benefit. Included in this research endeavor are educational opportunities towards understanding molecular biology, physiology, pathogenesis, population health, and the development of novel therapies. Engagement with the community of physicians, researchers, patients, and the public will occur via diverse media as an important part of the dissemination of knowledge.
