The UC Davis Center for Fungal Diseases has a decades-long history of work in clinical care, the development of diagnostic testing, and basic research in clinically-important fungal pathogens. Our work spans the full spectrum from clinical trials to basic science and includes both human and veterinary science.
With over 300 publications in mycology, our team has pushed forward our understanding of numerous diseases including: Candida, Coccidioides, Aspergillus, Cryptococcus, Pneumocystis, and many others. Your support allows for ongoing work in these areas to refine diagnostics, treatment, pathophysiologic mechanisms, and clinical trials.
