Hales Award for Excellence in Clinical Psychiatry honors a graduating UC Davis medical student who has demonstrated exemplary skills in clinical psychiatry, teamwork, professionalism, and cultural competence. Additionally, the award recipient will demonstrate a strong commitment to community psychiatry and have excellent potential to advance within academic psychiatry.
