Police Department Safety Initiatives Fund

Campus safety and security are fundamental to the UC Davis Police Department, and the Safety & Security Initiative aims to raise funds to support our efforts ensuring student, faculty and staff safety on campus. As our students navigate their education, our staff move through their careers, and as faculty teach and research for a brighter future, we hope to provide a safe and secure environment for all to thrive. From initiatives like Safe Rides, Aggie Guardian, the proposed Blue Light Safety Corridor, to future improvements and community suggested safety measures, we hope to maintain the most cutting edge safety and security measures available. With your support we can improve community outreach, increase availability and awareness of our Safe Rides program, expand and implement the student-led Blue Light Safety Corridor, and a broad range of increased community safety measures. Funds raised by this initiative will be overseen by the Police Department Outreach, Security, and/or Aggie Host manager(s), and will not be used for base-budget department expenses.
