TERC has identified Mysis shrimp as a major cause of clarity decline in Lake Tahoe. In collaboration with the UC Davis Graduate School of Management and faculty in Vet Med, TERC has explored the market potential of high purity Omega-3 oils from harvested shrimp as a food supplement. Once fully established, the revenues earned would fund the harvesting plus environmental research at Tahoe. Help launch this commercialization venture to restore Lake Tahoe's clarity and its native ecosystem.
