Tahoe Book Project

TERC, together with scientific collaborators, is completing a book on the science of Lake Tahoe, titled “Ecological Resilience, Climate Change and Environmental Management in the Tahoe Basin.” Each of fifteen chapters, written by an expert in the field, will include analysis of how the scientific information discussed has been used in the formulation of management and policy. The book, to be published by the University of Nevada Press, is intended for a general audience and presents a multidisciplinary perspective. Tax-deductible funds contributed will be used to help defer the production and publishing costs. Authors’ royalties (if any) will be donated to the Union of Concerned Scientists."
