The ASUCD Equity and Inclusion Award in honor of Chancellor Gary S. May provides financial student support based on the following criteria:
- Second-year or later undergraduate students who are in good academic standing
- Submitted an application essay demonstrating active involvement in leadership activities through ASUCD
- Demonstrated need through appropriate application via the financial aid office
- Preference should be given to student who meet one or more of the following criteria for need-based support: first-generation college student; member of Guardian Scholars Program, STEP, or EOP; or having undocumented status.
