Estoesta-Jurka Family Research Endowment

From health care to political science, business to education, today’s students need to be able to understand and work with data. By funding data science research collaborations between faculty members and undergraduate or graduate students, this fund encourages UC Davis students at all levels to pursue interdisciplinary studies rooted in a deeper understanding of data.

This endowment will enable the UC Davis Library’s DataLab: Data Science and Informatics to engage students in interdisciplinary, faculty-led research over the long term — establishing connections across the university, getting perspectives from industry partners, and building the data skills they need to succeed in college and beyond.
