Professor Norma J. Lang Student Library Research Prize Endowed Fund

Professor Norma J. Lang spent nearly 30 years educating UC Davis students about the research process. That passion guided her family and library personnel as, together, they decided that the best way to honor Professor Lang was to use her unrestricted estate gift to the UC Davis Library to create this prize that would support students and foster a love of learning. From that gift, the Professor Norma J. Lang Student Library Research Prize was born and was launched in 2017.

The Norma J. Lang Prize for Undergraduate Information Research recognizes undergraduate students whose research projects:

• Make extensive use of library resources, services or expertise
• Advance the students’ understanding of the academic research process
