Savor: Lectures on Food and Wine Fund

The Savor series brings together UC Davis researchers with leaders in policy, business and civic life to unpack emerging topics in food and beverage — from craft sake, to reducing food waste, to the impact of climate change and wildfire on California’s premier wine regions.

A partnership between the UC Davis Library and the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science, Savor offers insight into what we eat, the sustainability of what we grow, and how tastes evolve over time.

Since the pandemic, we have expanded this important public outreach program to a hybrid format — both live and online — enabling us to engage a global audience in addition to our local community. But this growth has also meant increased costs.
