Mark E. Ruedrich North Coast Brewing Company Diversity Scholarship Support Fund

According to a recent survey by the Brewers Association, more than 93% of U.S. craft brewery owners are White (non-Hispanic) and over 75% are male.

The Mark E. Ruedrich North Coast Brewing Diversity Scholarship, established by a generous gift from North Coast Brewing Company of Fort Bragg, California, helps address this issue by providing diversity-focused scholarships to the world-renowned UC Davis Master Brewers Certificate Program.

The scholarships provide support for entering students who are committed to diversity, have experience and/or understanding of the barriers traditionally faced by people of color and demonstrate a high potential for leadership in promoting cross-cultural understanding in the brewing industry.
