Beer is one of the world’s most historic and dynamic cultural traditions, and here in the United States, craft beer brewing has grown from a fringe hobby to a dominant force in the alcoholic beverage industry.

For as much success as the industry has seen, however, one critical area where it needs to grow is diversity, equity and inclusion. According to a recent survey by the Brewers Association, more than 93% of U.S. craft brewery owners are White (non-Hispanic) and over 75% are male.

To help address this issue, the UC Davis Tapping Potential Fund promotes enhanced programming and student support, including diversity-focused scholarships, in UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education’s Brewing programs.

By donating to the UC Davis Tapping Potential Fund you join UC Davis and its partners in the brewing industry in their efforts to increase diversity, leadership and cross-cultural understanding in brewing.
