Recognizing the great advances we have made in cancer care and the work that still needs to be done the Enzo and Luca Cancer Research Fund was established in memory of Enzo and Luca Pryt in their fight against cancer. Enzo survived several cancers over more than 10 years of his life while Luca was taken quickly and unexpectedly from cancer.
The proceeds from Enzo and Luca’s fund are used to carryout groundbreaking cancer research to benefit dogs with cancer. This research is carried out at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine making studies looking into the causes and prevention cancer as well as studies in how to better diagnose and treat cancer. The fund also supports clinical trials in dogs to test new promising therapies that are being developed. This fund funds Hope.
