The Charles Heumphreus Endowed Memorial Lectureship provides support to the annual lectureship named in honor of long time teaching hospital farrier, Charlie Heumphreus, who was the school's farrier from 1967 to 1985. The lecture addresses lameness of the horse, with special emphasis on foot disorders. Thanks to the generous support of individuals and organizations over the years, admission to the Charles Heumphreus Endowed Memorial Lectureship remains free of charge. Gifts to the endowment help keep the event free to attendees so that we can continue to present the exceptional speakers and programs that benefit all of us in the equine industry.
