The School of Veterinary Medicine is committed to lifelong learning programs for both professionals and the animal-owning public. To continue to learn and actively apply new professional information is an expectation and a defining attribute of the graduate veterinarian. Veterinarians are required to continuously learn beyond their 4 years in veterinary school and to remain current on the latest discoveries and standards of practice throughout their careers.
Our continuing education programs provide the most current information on recent developments and discoveries in all species and from all facets of veterinary medicine, including One Health. Our UC Davis faculty are the leaders in their fields of research, clinical expertise, and education. They are the discoverers of the latest technology in the lab and treatments in the clinic. Our stellar faculty translates these advances into improvements in quality of life for veterinary patents, their owners, and the environment.
The Center for Continuing Professional Education is your educational home for veterinary specialists, general practitioners, registered veterinary technicians and assistants, and animal owners! Your gift will allow us to teach practicing veterinarians about the latest advances in veterinary medicine so that they can apply them to their practice and improve patient care.
