The Emerging Infectious Disease Intelligence Fund provides unrestricted support to the development of integrated systems to detect risk at animal-human interfaces to better inform on and prevent emerging infectious disease outbreaks.
The earliest stages of pathogen emergence are the most critical for containment, yet major advances and transdisciplinary innovation are needed to enable the detection of pandemic threats early on. The EpiCenter works with wildlife, public, and environmental health colleagues around the world to characterize risk at animal–human interfaces and strengthen pandemic preparedness. Your donation will help support the development of non-invasive sampling techniques and integrated sensor systems to facilitate detection and prevent emerging infectious disease outbreaks.
