The California Raptor Center (CRC) is an educational and research facility dedicated to the rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned birds of prey. The Raptor Center’s museum and permanent collection of living, non-releasable raptors are open to public view on weekdays and Saturdays. A team of volunteers regularly brings raptors off-site for educational presentations. The Raptor Center, which takes in 150-200 sick, injured and orphaned raptors per year, is funded through donor support and run almost entirely by a team of volunteers. The California Raptor Center is authorized by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
