The Mercer Clinic Holiday Pet Baskets fund is a partnership between the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH) and the Mercer Veterinary Clinic for the Pets of the Homeless, to provide programmatic support in preparing holiday pet baskets for the clients of the Mercer Veterinary Clinic. This is an annual tradition organized by former and current staff members of the VMTH since 1995. This fund provides toys, treats, pet coats, sweaters as well as other essentials for these special pets, as well as needed supplies or operational costs (including rental storage) for the program to continue.
