The Club of Future Female Engineers was started by a group of students in the ECE Department in 2018. We found that the transition from lower-division to upper-division courses was unexpectedly challenging, and we leaned on each other for support. We decided to create an official organization that provided assistance, support, and guidance for students in electrical and computer engineering, and thus COFFEE was born.
We hope to support our members by using the money raised to go towards scholarships for members with financial need, funding future in-person community building events and activities, providing food and supplies for our social events and study hours, providing prizes and gifts to our highlighted members, and merchandise.
