Janet A. Neff Research Innovation Fund

Early-onset Alzheimer’s is increasing among younger adults. Many of them are in their 40s and 50s, at a time when they are thriving in their career, family and life. Yet, there is not enough understood about the brain and the complex pathways, connections and interactions that may play a part in the development of Alzheimer’s disease that could provide help and hope.

Established by College of Biological Sciences alumna Deborah Neff ’76 in honor of her sister, the Janet A. Neff Research Innovation Fund supports memory and plasticity research being conducted by Professor Kimberley McAllister in the Center for Neuroscience.
