Center for Business Law and Society Support Fund

UC Davis School of Law has a rich history of exploring business law and policy, and the role both play in our society. We are excited to announce the launch of the Center for Business Law and Society to serve as a hub for the activities and leadership of faculty, students, alumni, key practitioners, and policy makers. The Center will promote faculty scholarship on business and tax law while coordinating with other units on the UC Davis campus to facilitate interdisciplinary exchange. Leading experts will visit King Hall to speak at the Center’s annual symposium. In a regular lunchtime speaker series, alumni and other practitioners will introduce students to current topics and to skills that are essential to professional success. The Center will also provide networking and mentorship opportunities for students, workshops for scholars, and continuing legal education (CLE) for practitioners. As a valuable resource for both the law school and the broader legal and business community, the Center will both contribute to and capitalize on California’s position as a global business leader.
