Your donation will be used to provide support for families participating in research at the MIND Institute as well as to support outreach efforts for recruitment efforts specifically to reach families in underserved communities. This could include but is not limited to supporting costs associated with travel, and/or lodging for families, costs for home visits, small toys or snacks for participants and any and all other associated costs with participation.
As a psychologist at the MIND Institute, Dr. Elise Phelps Hanzel had an unyielding commitment to the families and children seen at the MIND Institute. She was a gifted clinician who was generous and willing to give her time and resources when others were in need. She often stayed late or came in on Saturdays to accommodate families participating in research studies at the MIND Institute, making their lives easier.
