Amiya Mukherjee Undergraduate Scholarship

The Amiya Mukherjee Undergraduate Scholarship Award was created in memory of Distinguished Professor Amiya Mukherjee. In his five-decade career, Mukherjee became an internationally-recognized leader and inspired generations of students and colleagues through his teaching, mentorship and friendship. In addition, he single-handedly founded the Materials Science and Engineering program at UC Davis after he joined the university in 1966.

This annual award will provide support to a well-deserving materials science and engineering undergraduate student.
