Founded in 2006, the Energy Efficiency Center at UC Davis (EEC) is the leading university center in the world on energy efficiency. The EEC is home to innovative energy efficiency-related research centers, global impact efforts, and collaborators and has more than 45 affiliated faculty. We focus on improving energy use through research, education, and outreach.
The EEC is unique in hosting a graduate program in energy. The Energy Graduate Group provides the interdisciplinary training required to tackle the energy challenges of the 21st century and beyond. Our alumni will become energy leaders and experts in government, the private sector, and academia.
The EEC is growing rapidly—accelerating the development and commercialization of integrated energy efficiency solutions and training future leaders in sustainable energy.
